The International Conference on Northrop Frye will take place at Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, July 1-2, 2016, sponsored by the Centre for Canadian Studies at Dalian University of Technology and the Northrop Frye Centre, Victoria College, University of Toronto, and co-sponsored by the National Centre for Canadian Studies and the Sino-Canadian Cultural and Educational Exchange at Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Twenty-five years after the literary critic and theorist left us, Northrop Frye remains one of the most influential voices of humanism. This international conference aims to examine Frye’s legacy and the impact of his contributions to humanity studies in the current global transformation. We seek to initiate a 21st-century transnational study of Frye beyond the Western literary tradition.

Professor Claude Le Fustec (Université Rennes 2, France)
